Inhalt und Ziele

What works well in international negotiations? Get some top tips and develop your negotiating style in this compact two-day course. You will expand your skills and knowledge required to influence counterparts and other key stakeholders in an international negotiation. You will understand how best to prepare for such negotiations and you will know how to negotiate effectively in a multicultural / international setting.

As a result of the workshop, participants will

  • be able to use appropriate tools to develop influential relationships with key counterparts;
  • be able to devise negotiation strategies to achieve stated objectives;
  • have considered and practised skills, tools and strategies suitable for international negotiations.

Über den/die Trainer/in

Steinhouse Adam, Dr.

Independent international lecturer, was Head of the School of European Studies at the UK
National School of Government. Previously, he taught European and American Politics at the
universities of Oxford, Cambridge and the LSE, and he was a commentator for the BBC and
CNN on European and North American affairs. His book, Workers’ Participation in Post-
Liberation France, was published by Lexington Books. Born in Montreal, Adam graduated with
a BA from Harvard University and a DPhil from the University of Oxford
